Forgot to mention, pics will be in area newspapers with the Mayor of Saluda, Frank Addy; local politician, Don Hancock and Arie Cat's dad on the Town Council in Batesburg Leesville.  Keep an eye out for it.

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME at the Little Saluda River Festival. Miss Saluda was proudly represented by Arie Kathryn Odell, Miss Pre Teen and Jamie Hair, Teen Miss!  I am sorry that you all could not be there this year. From the time the girls arrived, they were spotlighted. They sold raffel tickets, talked on the radio with Pat Patterson and then Arie Cat drew the tickets to give away the donated gifts to the festival.  GREAT JOB!!!  I look forward to seeing you all soon.

Well, another year for the Saluda Tractor Pull, I am just so sorry it got rained out. Russell and SYF organization, you all do such good work, we are sorry that Sat night was rained out. Better year next year.  The Miss Saluda girls did not go unnoticed and fans sitting and standing around gave them cudos, thumbs up and clapped as they walked from the entrance gate to the big concession stand.  Thanks Pull Fans!

Our next event is scheduled for Little Saluda Riverfest on Sept 4, Sat at 3:00 pm.  We are sponsoring a Talent contest for all ages, amatures only please.  Proceeds from the talent contest will go to the Miss Saluda Scholarship fund.  More on this later.
